Goodwood 2015

Dressed in period style, Goodwood once again celebrated the charm of bygone racing eras. A trio of Spitfires performed daring maneuvers in the sky, while on the ground around 20 of these agile little machines had been set up for the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation Concours, as this year’s Revival also honored the 75th anniversary of the air battles in the “Battle over Britain.”

You can’t help but love this old English country estate with its motorsport-mad head, Lord March, who hosts what is arguably one of the best motorsport events of our time. An old Tesco supermarket is being built with meticulous attention to detail. Those who don’t know any better find themselves transported to another era, from the days of the Bentley Boys, with their smell of motor oil and sweat, to the methanol-fueled Formula cars of the 1960s.

A true spectacle that Movendi couldn’t miss!
