Movendi at Retromobile in Paris 2016

The 41st RETROMOBILE came to a successful close on February 7. It was even more elegant and larger than last year. With over 110,000 visitors, attendance was once again very high.

The atmosphere was good, and there was little sign of the tense situation in France. Retromobile is and remains a magnet for the world’s most important collectors.

One highlight of the show was undoubtedly the auction of the Ferrari 335 S factory racing car for a spectacular €32,075,000, a world record in euros.

Movendi was represented at the Porte des Versailles with nine high-quality classics. From the Aston Martin Le Mans and Mercedes-Benz 500 K Cabriolet A in the pre-war section, to a Porsche Glöckler and Lotus MK VIII as racing cars, or two Mercedes-Benz 300 SL as roadsters and gullwing models, a Lamborghini Miura or 512 BBi, to the original 289 Cobra, the range on offer was very unusual and diverse.
