Movendi goes Kö Bogen
The summer sun sparkles over Daniel Libeskind’s Kö-Bogen. Twenty highly polished classic cars and a fantastic atmosphere among the nearly 50 invited guests. A flurry of camera flashes for the supercars that Bernhard Kerkloh from Movendi and his team brought to the Kö-Bogen. The fascination with historic cars varies greatly and is different for everyone – sometimes it’s the heritage of the automobile that inspires enthusiasm, sometimes it’s the excitement of unusual design or sophisticated details, technology – love has many facets. The car enthusiast scene around Düsseldorf is extremely high-caliber. Everyone knows each other, whether they’re from Düsseldorf, Cologne, or Aachen, as was the case at this event. Car collectors came from all directions with their mobile works of art. They are beautiful, striking, and design icons: the sports cars of the 1950s to 1970s. In recent years, these cars have become coveted collector’s items and enjoy absolute cult status, which was immediately confirmed by the gathering of curious onlookers at the Kö-Bogen. Rarities such as a Ferrari 250 California Spider, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, an Iso Grifo 7 Litre, an AC Cobra, a Maserati Vignale Spider, and even the Porsche 962 Le Mans winning car gleamed in front of the Kö-Bogen. It was a parade of automotive excellence.
A big thank you goes to Art-Invest and the team at the Textschwester agency.
