Aston Martin DB4 Series 1 LHD

The DB4 was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1958. The car was an entirely new model, which was a remarkable achievement for a highly regarded but small British manufacturer. Featuring a completely new chassis, disc brakes on all wheels, and an all-new 3.7-liter inline-six engine, the DB4 was crowned with a stunning fastback body designed by Touring in Milan. A masterpiece of British engineering with Italian design flair. Aston Martin produced only 149 units of the first series. Of these, 73 left the factory as left-hand-drive models.
This Aston Martin was originally delivered to Hollywood, USA. There, it had three owners and was put into storage in the early 1970s. Fifteen years ago, the car was purchased by a German collector. The DB4 was then meticulously restored to perfection over many years by an expert in Germany. The car was previously complete and roadworthy, but after 60 years, it had accumulated too much patina. The owner took this as an opportunity to restore this coupe down to the last detail. The restoration is documented with many photos. The car corresponds exactly to its original certificate of origin and is therefore “matching number” and “matching color.” This vehicle is arguably the finest DB4 currently available for sale on the global market.
