After being completed at the Jaguar factory, the car was shipped to New York and registered to its first owner in California. From 1992 to 1996, this E-Type underwent a complete restoration. The Daimler Heritage Trust certifies that the car\u2019s factory-installed engine and transmission are authentic. The leather is from Bartlett and meets the original Jaguar specifications. A photo documentation and numerous invoices document the work, which was carried out by a Jaguar specialist. In 1998, the car was offered for sale by the Appraisal Service dealership in California as a \u201cShow Class Winner.\u201d The mileage at that time was 28,140 miles.
